The Mo brand was established by transforming the well-known Cermag brand into a new and modern one – Mo. Mo brings fresh air to the business but also guarantees quality as  it stems from an experienced market leader, Cermag Group.

Cermag Group. The Cermag Group was established in 1996 as a family owned trading company, and under its name – Cermag Poznań – it rapidly developed on the Polish market, specializing in handling the retail, investment, and wholesale markets for ceramic tiles, sanitary ceramics and fittings, furniture, bathroom accessories, and also construction chemicals and lighting.

With each passing year, the company has opened more branches all over Poland so that today it can be proud of its 8 locations: Poznań, Leszno, Bydgoszcz, Ostrów Wielkopolski, Kołobrzeg, Szczecin, Warszawa, and Sopot. In May 2011, the first franchise showroom was opened. The idea was born from the need for clients and Cermag to work together when creating and executing architectonic constructions. Our initial idea was to create spaces where architects and clients could meet in comfortable and cultural conditions, maintain friendly contacts, and exchange experiences.

The first franchise showroom was created in Szczecin. Following this, further showrooms opened soon after in Konin, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Kalisz, Koszalin, and Rzeszów. These are unique places, created by architects for architects and clients. Initially, the franchise showrooms operated under the name of Strefa Achitekta but in 2014, they began to function under the Cermag brand.

An important moment in the development of the company was January 2012, when P.W. AGENA Sp. z o.o. merged with Cermag Poznań. Thanks to the fusion of two companies with similar philosophies, closely cooperating with architects and handling the retail, wholesale, and investment markets in terms of selling various ceramic and stoneware tiles, sanitary ceramics, construction chemicals, and bathroom equipment, access to high-quality products significantly increased. Until 2017, the showroom in Sopot operated under the name: Cermag Group, department – Agena.

At that time, the company increased its product offer to go far beyond a company offering just bathroom ceramics. Apart from all types of tiles available on the market, ceramics and fittings, bathtubs, and shower cabins, the offer has been complemented by lighting, heating, wallpapers and photo wallpapers, construction chemicals, elevation systems, solutions for gardens and patios, and even recuperation systems. In 2016, Cermag Poznań Sp. z o.o. was transformed into Grupa Cermag Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. Thus, the company changed its legal status and left the local aspect out of its name. However, an idea had already entered the mind of Tomasz Desko – President of the Board at Cermag Group – to create a new, fresh, and modern brand whose name wouldn’t be associated strictly with ceramics but would become a cosmopolitan brand which, according to the brand slogan, is “more than just interiors…”. And so, the Mo brand was born.
